NRG VALORANT IS READY TO RUMBLE
After a near two month absence, the long-awaited return of NRG VALORANT is finally here!
In what is sure to be the most viewed VCT match of the season, NRG is set to take on the Masters Madrid champions in Sentinels with a lot of bragging rights on the line.
This match marks the return of FNS to the in-game leader role, alongside his trusted teammate and friend s0m who historically was a Controller-minded player for NRG. This is the first official match that both of them have played since last year’s end to the VCT season at VALORANT Champions. Rounding out the team is Ethan, Victor and crashies who have returned to the NRG lineup determined to improve on their first half performances.
It’s a dash to the finish of the regular season for NRG VALORANT, who will play three matches in a span of seven days starting July 1-7 against G2, KRU and Cloud9 respectively following the tilt against SEN. In the overall standings, NRG sits in a three-way tie for fifth place, with the top-6 teams qualifying for the VCT Americas League Playoffs in mid-July. From there, NRG will need to achieve a top-3 placement in Playoffs to qualify for VALORANT Champions.
The qualification path for Champions is wide open for the taking. With the experience and firepower that our team possesses, we are confident that this Summer will be filled with Bringing The NRG and taking home the #NRGWIN. Our first match time is Saturday, June 22nd at 5 PM PT. Are you ready, NRGFam?

LCS SUMMER SPLIT IS UNDERWAY
It was a disappointing start to the LCS Summer Split for NRG Kia, who struggled to find their footing in a 2-0 sweep at the hands of 100 Thieves as they returned to the rift for the opening weekend.
The NRG Kia team of Dhokla, Contractz, Palafox, FBI and huhi began Game 1 relatively even against the Thieves, but a Baron teamfight loss at the 21-minute mark spelled disaster for the squad. A second Baron lost at the 28-minute mark was all that was needed for 100T to close the match. Game 2 proved to be more challenging for NRG Kia, as they were out slain 14-1 in the game en-route to a loss in 25 minutes.
Looking to hit a quick reset button, NRG Kia will be back in action this Sunday at 1 PM PT against Flyquest. Be sure to follow NRG Kia on Twitter for all match updates!
LET’S TAKE 2
NRG Shock opened up their FACEIT League Playoffs run this past weekend, splitting series 1-1 against Timeless and M80.
Starting in the quarterfinals, NRG Shock battled through connection problems with members of the team to take down Timeless in a Game 5 thriller that came down to a final Escort on Junkertown. The team led by series MVP PGE continued to stay resilient throughout the match, booking their tickets to the semifinals against M80.
Unfortunately for NRG Shock, they went from being on the positive side of a Game 5 to the negative, falling 3-2 in the series but only narrowly losing each of the Push and Escort game modes. Still, the team has one last life in the Playoffs bracket to keep their Esports World Cup dreams alive and will need to win a pair of best-of-five series to claim their stake for WC glory.
It’ll be up to a lower bracket run to claim the last remaining tickets to Riyadh, and it starts this Saturday against Citrus Nation at 12 PM PT. As always, stay tuned to NRG Shock socials for all the latest updates and all things Overwatch 2!
NRG APEX CONTINUES TO ROLL
Consistency is proving to be key for NRG Apex, as they had yet another top-5 lobby finish in the regular season of the ALGS Split 2 this past weekend.
The trio of Nocturnal, Reptar and FunFPS continued to find ways into the final ring of nearly all 12 games this past weekend, finishing on the podium a total of three times while racking up valuable elimination points along the way. Through two weekends of ALGS play, the team sits securely in third place in the overall standings, only behind fellow NA heavyweights Team Falcons and Spacestation Gaming. The regular season culminates with the ALGS Split 2 Finals on July 14, where the top-12 teams will earn a spot at the Split 2 Playoffs held later this Summer.
The Apex squad will battle once against this Sunday at 3 PM PT, with fans tuning into the official Play Apex Twitch stream to catch all the action!
DOING NORTH AMERICA PROUD
NRG Galaxy wrapped up play in the PMSL Americas this past week in São Paulo, finishing their inaugural season in 11th Place overall, but ranked 2nd in North America.
The team of Fate, JSVN, Spec, Melaz and coach Telli battled through all the tough competition that South America had to offer, highlighted by a record setting 22-elimination win on Day 3 of the final week of competition! Still, finding consistent placements proved to be challenging, with the team unable to make up the points differential following a tough Week 1.
A massive thank you to Samsung Galaxy for powering our PUBG MOBILE team with the Galaxy S24 Ultra all season long. We appreciate the PUBG MOBILE community for their support and we look forward to returning in the Fall as we hunt for qualification into the PUBGM World Championship!
