WALL-TO-WALL WEEKEND

THE BOUNCE BACK!

The 2025 VCT Season started off with a disappointing loss to Cloud9. Many were quick to write us off, despite the team showing unlimited potential during the off-season. Heading into our match vs. highly rated 100Thieves, the community was split on who would come out on top.

Coach Bonkar and his boys showed up and quieted the doubters, taking down 100Thieves in convincing fashion. Despite an overtime loss in map 1, NRG stormed back winning maps 2 and 3 with comfortable 13-9 scorelines.

The story of the match was NRG’s young star Adam ‘mada’ Pampuch, who truly arrived on the big stage. Mada, a player who long had been overlooked in the region, has been playing at an incredibly high level since joining NRG. The performance vs. 100T was truly magical, mada finished with a +26 K/D Ratio and had multiple ace’s to lead the team to victory.

Next up on our journey to make Masters Bangkok will be Messi’s team, KRÜ Esports on February 1st @ 5:00 PM PST. 4 more wins to make Masters!

BACK IN ACTION

Fresh off the victory in the Birmingham Major NA Open #1, Atomic, Beastmode and Daniel are back in action this weekend! The champs look to continue their dominance as they enter the RLCS Birmingham Major NA Open #2 as the #1 seed. The team sits atop the RLCS points leaderboard and is in prime position to qualify for the upcoming LAN Major in March. A solid performance in the NA Open #2 should clinch their spot!

Tune in to NRG Mission Control at https://www.twitch.tv/nrggg to catch the double elimination and swiss stage action this weekend as the boys continue their campaign.

THE BATTLE CONTINUES

NRG Apex has landed in Sapporo, Japan for the ALGS Year 4 Championship. Taking place at the MASSIVE Daiwa House Sapporo Dome, this is the biggest Apex Legends event in the game's history.

The event began on January 28th, and NRG has gotten off to a slow start unfortunately. After a very solid day 1, the squad failed to qualify for the winner’s side bracket. Down but not out, our next matches begin at 7 PM PST on Thursday, January 30th. The team will need to finish top 10 in the lobby to advance to the next stage.
