This Sunday marked a MASSIVE milestone for NRG VALORANT as the boys reeled in their first official VCT win in a 2-0 destruction of Sentinels The VALORANT squad started hot on Lotus and never looked back, securing a 13-10 map win on the back of Victor, who led the team with 22 frags. On Map 2 Icebox, s0m continued his DOMINATING play with the W Viper lineups to cap a convincing 13-2 map win and a 2-0 sweep!

In the final week of the pre-season tune up ProAm, the Shock battled Houston in an exciting back-and-forth series. Despite the Outlaws being the clear favorites to win with the Shock playing from Korea on 180 ping, the boys held their own taking the match down to the final round of the final map before ultimately falling and bowing out of the tournament. If this is the performance that this squad can deliver with a major ping handicap, we cannot wait to see what they will be able to achieve once they are back in the States playing on equal footing with the rest of the league for the season opener in two weeks.
