The biggest event in the history of VALORANT Esports is coming to LA! NRG VALORANT is poised for the inaugural VCT Champions in our own backyard, and we couldn't be more excited to share this stage with the 15 other world class teams in attendance.

Our journey begins Tuesday, August 8th at 12 PM PT as we take on China's own BiliBili Gaming. Tickets are still available for our opening matchday, and we will have a nearby watch party for NRG fans to come together and celebrate our love for VALORANT! NRG League of Legends kicked off their playoffs run in the upper bracket this past weekend against the fourth seed, Team Liquid. After finishing 9-9 in the regular season, few predicted us to win, however, NRG are always here to surprise, and we did just that in dominant fashion.

The boys' performance looked a little shaky during the first game, with the tide turning back and forth, before the team clutched up and closed it out, putting up the first point on the board in the best-of-five series. Riding that momentum, we also swiftly took the second game, although unfortunately falling in the third game. The game 3 loss only galvanized the team, as the boys took an early lead and never looked back finishing off Liquid 3-1. Palafox, (who else?), led the squad with a 26-6-35 total kill-deaths-assists ratio, looking absolutely dominant in the mid-lane.

We are heading into a match against Golden Guardians this weekend with huge stakes - win, and we book our tickets not only to the LCS finals event, but also to Worlds!!! This would be the first time this core roster has gone to Worlds, and the very first time in NRG's short history in the LCS. Make sure to tune in and lend your support this Sunday!

The Shock boys are back in action against the Vancouver Titans and Vegas Eternal this week following a bye week. With our returning veteran player Striker finally playing with the squad from San Francisco, we're excited to see how the team will look at full strength.

For local Bay Area fans, in-person watch parties are BACK! The Shock are hosting two live watch party events this weekend on the 5th and 6th, with team meet-and-greets to follow. The first 100 people to RSVP on each day will be able to receive limited edition collectible Shock pins, so don't miss out!
