Over the weekend, NRG VALORANT's season came to a close at VALORANT Champions. Hosted at the Shrine Auditorium in LA, NRG faced off in a do-or-die match Sunday against the Chinese team of BiliBili Gaming (BLG) in the decider match for Group C.

Starting off hot on Map 1 Bind, the team led by duelist Victor were able to leap ahead to a 9-5 lead, securing the second-half pistol round in convincing fashion. From there, it was a series of round losses that led to BLG securing the opening map, 13-10. Seizing the momentum, BLG were able to roll into Map 2 Ascent and handle things in swift fashion, claiming the series 2-0.

While this wasn't the outcome we wanted, we are proud of our team for their hard work and efforts throughout our inaugural season competing in the VCT. Highlights include a second place finish in the Americas and a global  fourth place finish at VALORANT MASTERS in Tokyo. We look forward to the OFF // SEASON events that Riot has in store for us, and we will see you all back in 2024 for the VCT!

NRG League faced down Cloud9 for the third time THIS SPLIT in the Winners Finals of the LCS Summer Split Playoffs, with a Grand Finals spot in New Jersey on the line.

Despite our team having a 2-0 record against C9 this split, the stars did not align for the NRG boys this time, with C9 finally clutching up and showing their prowess as the reigning LCS champions. No worries, more big stage experience for us as the boys are off to Newark to compete in the Lower Bracket Finals against Team Liquid on Saturday, with the winner to stand on the Grand Finals stage to battle C9 (again) for the crown on Sunday.

Make sure to tune in this weekend and #BringTheNRG!

The Overwatch League is on a two-week break following a game update that features major balance changes, as well as a new game mode and hero that will be featured for the final two weeks of the regular season. The boys are hard at work adjusting to the new patch, and we are looking forward to a newly revitalized Shock following the changes to the meta game.

Shock will face the Vegas Eternal again on Sunday 27th of August, so make sure to tune in and support the boys!
