Big news from the world of Full Squad Gaming. The Squad has multiplied! Please welcome MOB legends Classy & Avalanche to America’s favorite gamer group. Classy and Avalanche join Mike and Nick in front of the camera to take FSG to the next level with many planned programs and live events. Leading the charge will be Hung Tran, who also joins the Squad as our new President. Hung is super well known in the gaming community from his esports and agency work, and most notably co-founding the Golf Gaming Club. Check out their epic announcement video that has the industry buzzing.

The boys are already deep into it, planning a major trek with the entire squad in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for what’s next to come! Where do you think we should go?

We also welcomed a NEW member of the NRG Castle Crew to our family this week, with the addition of Jessica Kim! Jess will be participating in a variety of different NRG content initiatives alongside her friends Jollz, Ethos and special guests along the way! Jess is a highly engaging streamer who specializes in VALORANT content. Adding Jess to our crew was the perfect fit, and we couldn’t be happier to make her dreams come true as she joins NRG!

Selected finalists will be flown out to the NRG Castle in Los Angeles to participate in a “Day in the life of a NRG content creator” with a media day, photoshoot and content shoot before participating in a livestream finale event to determine the winner!

Worlds is drawing ever closer, and the Korean boot-camp grind continues for the NRG League boys. The team is skyrocketing up the Korean solo-queue ladder in between scrims, and they are working hard to prepare for our first appearance in the Swiss stage in two weeks!

The boys also watched this year’s Worlds hype song, Gods, and though we didn’t make it into the music video this year (What’s up with that?), as Dhokla says, we’ll make our own story now.

Because after all, Why Not US?

Last weekend, we said goodbye to the Overwatch League as we currently know it. Thousands gathered in Toronto to witness the Overwatch League Playoffs, where teams clashed to see who would be crowned the champion of 2023. Though we didn’t make the main event, we still showed support to all the ex-Shock players participating in the tournament.

After the Mayhem were crowned the new Overwatch League champions, ex-Shock alumni gathered together for a big group photo, showing that even though they may have gone to different teams, Shock will always remain their family. Regardless of what the future holds for Overwatch esports, the Shock’s legacy will live on forever as the winningest team ever with back-to-back championships and a worldwide fanbase . #ShockFam forever!
