NRG CS2 was back in action on Tuesday night to kick off the back half of this season’s schedule. The squad faced off vs. LAG for a regular season ESL Challenger League bout and took care of business with a swift 13-6, 13-1 scoreline. NRG now sits in first place in ECL with a record of 14-2.

The team has a busy upcoming schedule that includes a number of ECL matchups, the NA Revival Cup #4, the ESL Challenger Katowice Qualifiers and CCT NA #3 over the next couple weeks.

WAITING FOR OUR CHANCE AT REVENGE

The NRG Shock are nearing the end of their mini-offseason. The team is currently wrapping up preparations for Overwatch Champions Series 2024 - North America Stage 4, where they have auto qualified for the group stages, starting on September 27th. 

Following a 2nd place finish in Stage 3 of the OWCS, the boys are looking to get revenge on the Toronto Defiant this time around and clinch a spot at the marquee event of the year, Overwatch Champions Series 2024 Finals in Stockholm, Sweden!

Stay tuned to the NRG Shock account as we patiently await the results of the Swiss stage where the other teams fight for the privilege of losing to the Shock!

NEON DREAM CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to YFP X for winning the NRG VALORANT NEON DREAM INVITATIONAL! Following a fierce two-day gauntlet of a bracket, YFP X came out victorious over FlyQuest RED in an extremely competitive Grand Final matchup. FlyQuest RED started out hot winning the first map 13-2, but YFP X was able to reverse sweep and claim the title.

Full Squad is strengthening its ties with top celebrities! Super talented superfan BBno$ will make another appearance in an upcoming FSG long-form video and has asked the boys to make him an honorary Squad member! One of us! One of us!
