The win streak continues, as NRG CS2 have now won 11 straight matches. The boys had a great week in the ECL with comfortable wins over Wildcard, timbermen and Take Flyte. We now sit atop the leaderboard for the season with a 20-2 overall map record. 

The team also took home its second consecutive Prize Picks North America Revival Series championship, taking down Party Astronauts, Fluffy Aimers and Nouns in the grand final over the weekend.

The remainder of the week continues to be packed with action, as the squad will have more ECL action, as well as the ESL Challenger Katowice qualifiers beginning on the 26th.

WELCOME BACK GILD

Apex Legends rostermania has arrived, and NRG made a big acquisition bringing back Gild to replace Reptar in the starting roster. Gild played for NRG in 2022 and 2023 and was part of the squad that finished 2nd in the 2023 Split 1 Playoffs at the Copper Box in London.

Gild also has a long history with the rest of the NRG Apex Squad, Fun and Noc. The trio played together along with NRG coach, Hodsic, for Team Liquid for the majority of 2022.

Adding Gild is a huge win for the team heading into the 2024 World Championships taking place in Sapporo, Japan!

SIGHTS SET ON STOCKHOLM

The NRG Shock are back in action for the Overwatch Champions Series 2024 - North America Stage 4. Matches kick off on Friday the 27th, as the boys look to secure their spot in the bracket stage in October. Revenge on the Toronto Defiant and a spot at the marquee event of the year, OWCS 2024 Finals in Stockholm, Sweden is on the line! 

THE SQUAD TAKES TWITCHCON

Full Squad Gaming launched their Fall World Tour with a standout appearance at TwitchCon. The boys captured exciting content for Rockstar Energy and Samsung, highlighting their rising star power in San Diego. Next, they’ll kick off their Samsung College Tour at the USC football game before heading to Oregon!
